A little history... Who are we? The pyrotechnic career of the Martínez de Lecea family dates back to the 19th century, in the town of Ozaeta in Álava. We can affirm, therefore, that it is one of the oldest fireworks in Spain. The manufacture of gunpowder was then an artisanal activity, with powder makers having the manufacture of rockets and other pyrotechnic items as a secondary activity. Little by little it is evolving towards the manufacture of recreational and festive pyrotechnics, already standing out in the middle of the century as a famous family of pyrotechnicians in the modern sense of the term. In 1910 they moved to Vitoria, where in 1914 they won a World Pyrotechnics Championship in Turin. In 1918 our grandfather, Félix Martínez de Lecea, moved to the Burgos town of Miranda de Ebro, where he set up a very large pyrotechnics workshop and from where a multitude of fireworks castles were created that would delight spectators for more than 70 years. years, both nationally and internationally. In 1984 our father, Luis Martínez de Lecea, moved to the town of Bergüenda in Alava, where he set up a modern pyrotechnics workshop that is currently run by his three sons Félix, Luis and Miguel Martínez de Lecea. We thus constitute the fourth generation of pyrotechnicians dedicated to this noble art. During all these years of business, our company has been reaping excellent results wherever it has fired, applause and congratulations being its great prizes, maintaining in its place the quality of fireworks display that the Martínez de Lecea family has developed over the years. throughout its history.
